alex marrache

PRODUCTION

alexandra marrache was raised in madrid and schooled in the uk. she graduated from UCL in 2004 with a classics BA after completing a years study at camberwell college of arts. throughout her degree she continued studying fine art at the slade. coming from a fine art background she brings a unique and insightful spin on being a producer.
 
alexandra began storyboarding five years ago and joined dog eared films as a production designer in 2007. interested in production, her first foray was the commonwealth visions award funded project, hubcaps and bathtubs, after which she went on to act as assistant producer on both the filmaka funded, the bowler hat and the arts council funded girl blue running shoe. summer, 2009, she collaborated with happy endings productions to co-produce on the short, the theory which was subsequently screened at the rio cinema in dalston.

last year she produced two music videos (for nadine khouri and lyenn) managing large concepts on miniscule budgets.

she is currently finishing post on def’s latest short film- his uterus; her lover, which she produced earlier this year, to arrive in festivals Autumn 2011.
